We aim to improve the environmental efficiency of our services at all levels and stages of the departmental process to satisfy our internal and external stakeholders.

We are committed to operating our business responsibly and in compliance with all legal, external, and internal requirements. We will continually improve our environmental performance by adopting the following processes:

  • Set measurable objectives which reflect our business aims and regularly monitor performance
  • We will assess the impact of our activities, products and services may have on the environment
  • Minimise material and energy wastage
  • Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials
  • Eliminate/Reduce and/or limit the production of pollutants to water, land and air and fully commit to protecting the environment and fulfil our compliance obligations
  • Control noise emissions from operations
  • Identify and minimise the risk to the public and employees from operations and activities undertaken by the Organisation and evaluate any opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure we plan for, respond to, and recover from any emergency, crisis and business disruption
  • Investigate all incidents, accidents, near misses and environmental observations.

Although JPS Reliability have the ultimate responsibility for the Environmental performance of JPS Reliability, all employees have a personal responsibility within their own areas of work to ensure that our Environmental ethos is embedded within the whole of the company.
